First Alert Weather: Air quality alert in effect for Sunday
ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has issued an air quality health advisory for fine particulates for Sunday. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for fine particulates.
AirNow.gov The health impacts included in the index are those that people are likely to experience within "a few hours or days" after being exposed to the air, the National Weather Service Says.
