Most recent Gallup polls from May 23 showed a 43% approval and 53% disapproval rating, reflecting 90% approval from Republicans and 4% from Democrats, in line with prior polls. Independent views of Trump, however, have changed significantly this year according to Gallup, now at 33% approval versus 46% in January.

President Donald Trump’s approval rating dipped two points in a survey released Tuesday compared to the group’s previous survey—as his poll numbers are slightly above his average approval rating during his first term but below those of almost all other modern presidents.

Pollster G. Elliott Morris' tracker shows that on the issue of the economy, Trump's approval rating is underwater by 15.75 points.
