A bit off the beaten track, but known to locals. There are amazing views in 270 degrees well above the valleys and Honolulu. You can see as far as Pearl Harbor. Not crowded at all and there are …Full review by DarrenL639

Has anyone taken Uber/Lyft up to the lookout? Is it easy to book a return from up there ie. phone reception okay up in the park?

I have not taken a uber there but they should be able to take you up. Sorry I only took amazing photos and did not calli anyone/

Yes, they do enforce the closing time. You can get similar views along the road going up to the park.

We didn't take the tour you are speaking of. We hired an open top Crysler Hemi for 6 hours and did the tour combined with what we wanted to do and the owner/driver making suggestion. Cost is $60 per hour and you can hire by the hour. Great way to see the island without tour crowds. Thanks Neil

Route 15 of The Bus goes up and around Tantalus. The park is a half mile walk from the bus route.
