According to NPS website: Independence Day Weekend Modifications to Operations All parking lots, picnic areas and restrooms will be closed July 2-5. Picnic area parking will also be prohibited near Mission San Jose. Please do not gather at the mission sites on Independence Day weekend. Changes follow modifications made on 3/23.

Parking is free. The main lot is on the east side of the Mission which is on the opposite side from Roosevelt Ave. but it is still easily accessible. This mid-sized lot is nearest the visitor center and fills up quickly because of its proximity to the center. All parking is surface. There are no parking garages.
