There are children's playgrounds, volleyball nets, soccer pitches, paths through well kept gardens and seats were couples chat, families gather and quiet picnics occur. It is a very large park, I found people polite, happy, relaxed as you'd expect in such a situation. The Carpet Museum designed by the Shah's wife (Farah Pahlavi) is nearby and market stalls as well as the international Laleh Hotel (from the 70s) amongst the attractions.
