Honestly, I would sign up for the snorkeling tours and go to huananumu bay(sorry about the spelling). You would have a much better snorkeling experience. Since you are obviously staying in Oahu, consider taking the snorkel bob'S tour to see the sandbar which is quite unique for Oahu. You will spend a great time snorkeling at 2 locations, see some sea turtles and even enjoy a BBQ lunch they provide. Easy pickups and returns at the local hotels so no driving, just a fun day out in the sun and water. Enjoy your vacation!
