This was a must when planning our trip to Hawaii. 20 minute walk from the hotel, this zoo is a sprawling, well-maintained property with entertainment for hours! Great value for the entrance fee. Full review by RemittanceNinja

I had the most wonderful time there, the animals were active and I didn't find it crowded at all. I highly recommend going there, the Rhinos and Hippos were my favorite. Full review by Sheldon M
Does there a charge to park overnight at the zoo parking lot?

I believe the parking area is more street parking and maybe a lot close by. Probably you can. But there are many homeless people in the area. So do be careful of where you leave ā¦

If you are looking to get a discount of sorts for military personnel or what have you will have to show ID regardless. I recommend just paying at the gate. It was not busy in Nov/Dec time frame. Enjoy
