Harvey Pullen joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in Hinesville, Georgia, after completing his initial training in Laurel, Maryland, in August 1989. Previously, he served for three years as an enlisted soldier in the United States Army before attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation, and serving in various command and staff assignments, Harvey separated from the U.S. Army, joined First Command, and later retired as a senior army officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. Harvey initially served First Command clients in Hinesville, Georgia, before transferring to First Command's Virginia Beach Norfolk office. In 1996, he was promoted to District Advisor, where he led teams at one main office and four satellite offices throughout New York and New Jersey. In successive years, Harvey served in numerous leadership roles within the company, including leading First Commands El Paso, Texas district to being ranked as the top district in the region.
