Small museum run by volunteers. (Very friendly) There s a lot of info crammed into a small space. Just pick the subjects you like , being war, town history, transatlantic phone lines or anything else… Full review by WingWingOne

Hallow My name is Ron Cox and I live down in Kent ,my niece who lives in Edinbirugh has told me of your War and pece museum in Oban.I am very interested as during the 2nd world war my father was posted to a temporary Naval Establishment near Dunstfnage Castle ,I think it is now called Dunbeg .as far as I know they serviced Canadian Corvets that went after the U boats,they had a floating Dock.I was five years old at the time and went to School l Oban ,my mother and sister were up there too,we were there from 1942 to 1945 ,I have some imformation in my fathers memiors have you any other imformation ? Hope you can help Ron Cox
