Cruise ships are generally at all the tourist spots Monday thru Thurs., 9-3 and occasionally on Fridays. I would visit Starfish Point on a weekend and have the beach to yourself:)

It’s approximately 45min drive. I imagine you can hire a taxi for a round trip activity like that. Cabs are easy to come by.
