Will this take a lot longer than via the motorway? My husband and I are planning for a day trip to Hunter Valley from Sydney and back. We'll be travelling with a 1 year old toddler. Is this route recommended, leaving us enough time for the Hunter Valley itself? Is the road condition ok for normal sedans? Also, Barbara mentioned about checking flood levels. We'll be there in 2 weeks time. Is it the rainy season yet, making this route impassable?
A:
Sealed road, a little windy, not that much longer than the motorway - more scenic, shouldn't be flooding unless we have lots of rain.
