New Paris is a village in Preble County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,494 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. New Paris was platted in 1817, and named after Paris, Kentucky, the former home of a share of the first settlers. A post office called New Paris has been in operation since 1820.
