The train was very beautiful and well maintained. The conductor was very informed about the railroad’s history and the history of Portland. It’s truly an asset to Portland and the state of Maine. Full review by waynehartman
I’m not too sure. Their website doesn’t have listing for their hours for the whole year. I would call the office to inquire about their hours in January.
Hi, This will be our first time in Portland. Would you recommend the train ride for couples without kids? I was hoping to do a wine/beer tasting on board, but those events aren't offered during our trip dates. I don't mean to offend anyone, but we do not want a hokey kid-centric experience. We'd like to see and learn about the bay, but in a more adult atmosphere. If the train isn't it, than that's fine, we'd rather know ahead of time. Thanks for your honesty, friends!
