A lovely atmosphere and a lovely performance of Cymbeline. Unfortunately, the seating was very uncomfortable for us two oldies, and, with great reluctance, we had to come away during the interval.Full review by U5309QWmartinh

Paid £150 for two seats to see Cymbeline in the Wanamaker on a Sunday afternoon. Unlike most other theatres the Globe and the smaller Wanamaker do not use understudies. Instead ..on this day…the part…Full review by Mark F

The experience was utterly appalling. The seats in the Pit (C1 and C2) were some of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever encountered, making it impossible to enjoy the performance. Cramped into a row wit…Full review by Inar M

We are planning to see taming of the shrew in March. Am I correct in that this is an indoor theater? I’ve seen some comments that the theater is freezing. So—inside but kept cold or outside temperatures cold?

The Sam Wanamaker theatre is inside and should be warm. The only thing that should be unique is the stage lighting which should be by candlelight. The Globe theatre is outside and …

Hi the Wannamaker has cushions on the benches and no backs unless you have seats in the rear rows of the blocks. Once you've been you can see where to book next time. The hire able backs that the Globe use may be usable but you won't be able to have another cushion inside as it might make you a bit too tall.

Are the seats with obstructed views worth buying? How badly is the viewing with columns etc obstructing? Thank you!

Apart from the Pit, all seats have a slightly restricted view - there are columns (about 20 cm. in breadth) supporting the floor above or the ceiling. With a slight head movement to left or right, you should be able to see 90% of the action at any time. In any case, 90% of the action at the Wanamaker is worth more than 100% in most West End theatres. Go and enjoy!

Hi, Is Vivaldi's Four Seasons Reimagined geared towards young chidren since it's a puppet theatre? I am bringing teenagers who would of course prefer to be around adults rather than small kids. Thank you.
A:
World-class puppetry (from the creators of "War Horse") combined with a quintet playing a reimagined version of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons". What's not to like?
