The views from up top were great, and the gardens were lovely. But as others mentioned, the inside is barren and rather sad.Full review by heyheyheathery

Hi get the funicular train from Paral-lel to Parc de Montjuic and then take the cable car to Castell de Montjuic. The castle is inexpensive to get into (3E) and has a nice cafe & brilliant panoramas. The funicular train is a train that is pulled up a steep hill by cables. Its all part of the Metro network. It only runs between Parc de Mont Juic and Paral-lel.
I am planning to go here via the cable cars, what is the best way from here to the montjuic fountain magic? Shall I get the cable car on the way back too or walk down? How long will it take? Thanks

Hey Franc, to walk back its too far away. First of all, to go and leave from the castle there are two ways, either by bus nor with the teleferic. It depends on how much money you are willing to spend. The bus cost around €8-10 in total. In my opinion you should get the teleferic, two way, which is €13, you go to the castle, which has €5 entrance, and then take the teleferic to go back. At the end you take the bus, which is next to the teleferic station and go to the magic fountain. I hope that I helped you!!!
