trueI've plugged it into a USB port on my computer and the microphone part works but the camera doesn't. Every time I try to open the EMEET software it almost instantly closes and says the webcam isnt connected, despite my computer recognizing it as connected in device manager. I tried uninstalling the device and then plugging it back in but that didnt work either.
As many of you will probably know the Wyzecam V1 and V2 is based on the Xiaomi Xiaofang, same as the Neos Smartcam. Now I’ve been tinkering with the defeng custom Firmware available for these cameras. It worked for the most part but I’d like to revert back to the stock Neos firmware or run Xiaomi or Wyze firmware on it.
What connection parameters are you using to connect to the SmartCam? And what app are you using to connect? I have this same camera and would love to figure out if ONVIF is a possibility.
If you are a Linux user and want to use the OBS toolset, you can just download Lovense SmartCam and install it with Wine. Then configure your Lovense settings on the extension (Chrome, for example) to find the desired size and style and the changes will be reflected on the Lovense SmartCam.
What have you used??? MasterCAM and a couple others are still DOS. But all the new CAM is .NET. If you are running an old version of SmartCAM or something, I don’t know.
